In each 30-45 minute session students will go through a variety of mounted and unmounted exercises to improve social connection with not only horses but other individuals and learn how to overcome obstacles in their daily lives. This process can be stressful, however, the outcome will give them a clear understanding of how to gain control in life and use it to focus on their future.

Students may have a variety of cognitive and physical special needs including conditions (but not limited to): Anxiety, ADD, Autism, Blind, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, Genetic Disorders, Head Injury, Hearing And Vision Impairments, Hypotonia, Learning Disabilities, Low Muscle Tone, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Nemaline Myopathy, Schizencephaly, Seizure Disorders, and Sensory Integration Disorder.
Initial session $120
Weekly plan - one session per week with the same instructors at a set schedule each week. (Paid monthly prior to sessions) $ 500
Bi weekly plan - two session per week with the same instructors at a set schedule each week. (Paid monthly prior to sessions) $900
San Diego Horsemanship does not bill insurance companies, however you can submit a reimbursement form to your insurance company if they offer that option. We can provide a receipt for therapeutic riding lessons, but cannot provide a procedure code.
Cancelations for any reason require 24 hours notice. If notice is not given or is less than 24 hours you may be charged for the lesson.
